This fun design project was a 2022 Christmas Present surprise for the kids! With a sophistication that both the parents and the kids can appreciate, the attic space used as storage was transformed into a fun movie theater. The space was painted out in a black paint to create drama with the emerald green pops of color in the sofa and the drapery. Millwork was added to create a concessions stand for snacks and drinks along with a custom cabinet in the window seat to house gaming devices. More fun accents were based on Star Wars in the wallcovering and rugs through out the space. The designs aren’t so literally and take a grow with the kids approach. The front of the space gained acoustic panels with trim work and wall sconces.
